In 10-years Al-Jazeera has contributed to fundamental changes in the Arab world with the authorities and tryants not as free to control and manipulate as before.
Has contributed to a climate of greater accountability, position to question, transparency, and demonstrations for a range of issues.
It has been a force for growing civic society and participation.
